So this is what I do when I'm not drawing stuff I put in my DevArt gallery. For those who don't know, these are Anubii. They're pets I draw for my shop at Gaia Online. In total, there's over 60 Anubii, though I've only posted my favorite 30 here. I spend so much time working on these little guys it always kind of bugged me that I never post them here. If I posted an Anubii every time I finished one they'd dominate my gallery, which I don't want. So lumping them all together into one giant image works pretty well. ^^

Anubii come in several stages which they grow through as pets. They start as an ankh (seen at top), then grow into a pup (also seen at top). The form after pup is Jackal. The Jackals are the adults with smaller wings. Some rare Anubii grow into Judges after that. Judges are the large-winged ones you see. Most Anubii here are Judges because they're custom orders and most people want Judges, as they're otherwise difficult to get.

You'll probably notice, female Anubii have feathered wings and males have bat or dragon-like wings. Anubii themselves are egyptian-themed. They're a takeoff of Anubis. There's a whole story and mythology behind them but I'm too lazy to go and paste it here. I doubt you'd wanna read it all anyway. XP
