This goat is part of the fantastic base for Cellini's Perseus Beheading Medusa sculpture in Florence. This particular fellow is on the front left corner. I sat beside him one pleasant sunday afternoon and started drawing. On a side note, sunday afternoon is a horrible time to sit and sketch in Florence. I was pratcially bathed in tourists.

(I'm aware the watermarks on this picture are particularly bold and annoying. I've been very hesitant to post any of my Italy work for quite some time because all of this work is very special to me and devart has an unfortunate reputation for art theft. I've finally decided to post this work, but with extra watermarks. I realize not all this work is really good enough to warrent such measures, but as I said, it's special to me so I'm just trying to be cautious.)
